Review: Rich Dad, Poor Dad (Robert T. Kiyosaki; Sharon L. Lechter)

This book is dedicated to the basic principles of how to manage money. Basically the main thought is to create the active incomes beside the job, which you don’t have to continuously take care about.

Even there are much more ideas in the book, this one is the most important. The others help to put the main one into action.

The first part of the book is written as a story. This part, in my opinion, is not really smooth. There is lack of dynamics in this part and it is not written naturally. But the thought is introduced and is understandable.

The biggest part is written in very intense tone. It is about what to do and how to manage money. It reminded me speech of parent, who keeps talking, because he thinks his child doesn’t accept the thought. On the other hand I can’t say that this tone bothers me.

The end of the book is thickened information about life attitude. There is no concrete advice how to invest, but it highlights principles, which should be deep under your skin.

I liked the book and I recommend to read it. But do not expect master piece from the linguistic and stylistic point of view. The thought is the main thing. I personally didn’t explore America by reading this book, because I already apply some of the mentioned principles in my life. But I have found for myself some good observations. BUT for those, who are just about to start their journey to build the first financial pillars in their lives, the book can introduce several revolutionary principles.
